About Invoking Frida
Invoking Frida is, simply, a tribute to Frida Kahlo, launched on July 6 2007, the day that would have been her 100th birthday.
The photographs here, collected and curated with love, were taken by many photographers, including: Nicholas Muray, Juan Guzmán, Leo Matiz, Manuel Alvarez Bravo and Lola Alvarez Bravo.
